Tool Description:

The tool calculates how many years your capital will last given your investment amount, returns on investment, monthly withdrawals and increases on withdrawals each year.

Tool explanation and example from images:

When opening the Income Drawdown tool. Insert your investment value in cell B8, and your return assumption in cell B9. This user has R1m invested and earns a 9% return. Fill in your monthly income requirement in cell B10 and how much you want the monthly income to increase annually in cell B11. This user requires R5000pm and a 6% annual increase. The tool will show how long your capital will last depending on your inputs. The users capital will deplete in year 24 after 279 months.
